You may be a good candidate if you have mild, moderate, or severe upper eyelid sagging and you are not taking any medications that will interfere with UPNEEQ. If you have always had heavy upper eyelids, the treatment may not be as effective. We’ll review your medication and medical history during your consultation. It may not be a good option for you if you are on beta-blockers, certain blood pressure medications, certain antidepressants, and other prescription medications.

UPNEEQ is approved to treat upper eyelids that have begun to sag as you age. With an average 1mm rise in the position of the upper eyelids, the treatment can provide a noticeably more open and awake eye appearance. For people who want a more significant lift, those who have a significant amount of loose skin on top of the eyelid, and those who also want to treat their lower eyelids, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is likely a better option.
