What To Expect During a Lip Filler Treatment
Receiving fillers is a quick procedure with minimal pain. During your consultation, Dr. Yee will tell you how to prepare and what to expect during the procedure.

Anesthesia
A topical anesthetic may be used to numb the lips and to make the procedure as comfortable as possible.

Rest
You can rest for a few minutes after the injections to ensure you don’t have any side effects like dizziness or nausea.

What To Expect After Dermal Fillers
Lip filler treatments require no downtime. Patients can resume their normal activities immediately after treatment, but should expect:
Swelling
Mild swelling and bruising can occur after treatment. These symptoms can be managed with ice and anti-inflammatory medication.
Tenderness
Slight tenderness is normal but shouldn’t last more than a few days. Any pain can be managed with over-the-counter medication.
