Weight Loss Injections
If you have been looking for a weight loss solution, weekly medical weight loss injections at our practice could be the answer. These medications, proven effective for the management of diabetes, are now delivering an effective, convenient, and safe method for weight loss.

A New You Awaits
Many men and women struggle to lose significant weight through diet and exercise alone. If this is the case for you, you could be a good candidate for medically-supervised weight loss with the help of GLP-1 receptor agonist medications such as semaglutide and tirzepatide.
Our program, overseen by triple-board-certified cosmetic surgeon Dr. Suzanne Yee in our Little Rock office, takes a personalized approach to weight loss, combining injectable medications with individualized diet, exercise and lifestyle recommendations to set you up for success.

Our Weight Loss Program
Dr. Yee’s medically-supervised weight loss program begins with a one-on-one consultation to determine if weight loss medications could be right for you and, if so, to create a personalized treatment plan designed for your unique needs and goals. Dr. Yee will review your medical history and order basic lab work to determine the most effective strategies for you.
In addition to monitoring your progress with weight loss medications, we also provide nutrition guidance and recommendations for the right type and amount of exercise to reach your goals. Dr. Yee may also recommend specific nutritional supplements to ensure your body is getting all the nutrients it needs to optimally function while losing weight.
Weight Loss Medications
At our practice, we offer weight loss injections such as semaglutide, commonly known under the brand names Ozempic® and Wegovy®, which mimics a naturally occurring hormone in your body called GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1). GLP-1 helps to regulate appetite, blood sugar levels and the rate at which your stomach empties. By acting like this hormone, semaglutide helps you to feel full faster, stay full longer and experience fewer cravings throughout the day. Most patients begin to notice changes in their appetite and portion control within the first few weeks of treatment.
Semaglutide is typically a once-weekly injection, and doses are gradually increased to reduce side effects like nausea or mild stomach upset. It is important to note that this medication works best when paired with a healthy diet, regular exercise and certain lifestyle adjustments, such as healthy stress management techniques and getting adequate sleep.
If semaglutides aren’t right for you, Dr. Yee may recommend a different weight loss medication called tirzepatide, known under the brand names Mounjaro® and Zepbound®. These medications are dual agonists, meaning they target both GLP-1 and GIP (gastric inhibitory polypeptide) receptors. Because of this, tirzepatides may help some patients lose more weight than with semaglutides. Dr. Yee will carefully evaluate your health history and lab work to determine which weight loss medication could be the most effective for you.
