How Does Radiesse® Work?

Radiesse® gel contains microspheres of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA), which can immediately boost volume and smooth wrinkles. At the same time, the CaHA also promotes an increased production of collagen. Collagen, one of the main connective proteins in the body, retains moisture and helps to keep your skin supple. As you age, your body will produce less collagen. Skin will becomes less elastic, allowing wrinkles to develop. By boosting the amount of collagen in the treatment area, Radiesse® offers enduring results. In fact, the effects of Radiesse® injections have been clinically proven to last for up to a year. When the effects begin to subside, you can undergo additional treatments.

Benefits and Risks of Radiesse®

Radiesse® offers a number of benefits:

  • Radiesse® injections involve minimal discomfort.
  • CaHA is found naturally in the human body. Therefore, there is no risk of allergic reaction following Radiesse® injections.
