DR. SUZANNE YEE: Abdominoplasty is one way to get rid of the excess skin, to tighten the muscles and get that flat appearance of the stomach that we had when we were younger. Many times doctors will not do liposuction with the tummy tuck. At our facility, if you have excess fat in the upper abdomen, I will do liposuction at the same time as the tummy tuck, so that we can get a very beautiful result. We can get immediate results very quickly with one procedure. Now of course we have to be realistic, if there’s too much there, we can’t do that, we have to stage the procedures, but if it’s reasonable, I’ll do liposuction and a tummy tuck at the same time, and give you a wonderful appearance in one surgery. FEMALE VOICE: Before I had the procedure, my, I felt just ugly. I mean I felt like you know, my tummy was just hideous. I did not want anyone to see it you know. I did not like to wear bathing suits, anything. But now, it is incredible. I mean I could wear a bikini and I mean I would feel fine with it. It’s amazing, the difference.
