Eyelid Surgery – Blepharoplasty

Browlift Surgery (Endoscopic Browlift)

As we age, the skin of the forehead can begin to loosen, lowering the brow line, shading the eyes, and often giving the face a tired or angry appearance. Many of us also develop fine lines and creases horizontally across the forehead and vertically between the eyebrows above the nose.

Browlift surgery is designed to smooth the wrinkles and lines on the forehead, and lift the brow line back to its natural, more youthful position. Traditionally, this was accomplished with an incision across the forehead, just behind the hairline. Today, Dr. Yee can perform the procedure endoscopically, a method requiring only discreet, half-inch incisions along the hairline. In an endoscopic browlift, Dr. Yee inserts a tiny fiberoptic camera through the small incisions, and then performs the procedure while watching what the camera captures on a monitor.

An endoscopic browlift involves smaller incisions, minimal scarring, less hair loss, minimal numbness, and a faster recovery period. Endoscopic browlift is often performed in conjunction with upper blepharoplasty for the most complete improvement of a drooping brow.
